These are maps of modern distribution of haplogroup N1a-TAT and its main subclades, using natural neighbour interpolation.
It is very likely that haplogroup N1a-TAT and its subclades were associated with Siberian tundra, forest-steppes and steppes peoples from the Urals to Lake Baikal since the Early Bronze Age, and became associated with other languages (viz. Palaeo-Arctic, Palaeo-Siberian, Uralic, Altaic, etc.) that expanded into their territories.
